The route takes you from the University of Houston Campus into the beautiful tree-lined subdivisions of Avalon, Riverstone, and Telfair.

Race participants will have a full lane reserved for their travels and be able to look across the median to cheer on other participants. This route offers easy access for spectators with several vantage points for viewing the race.

• The Marathon is an “exact” 2 loop course that is USATF certified (certificate # TX16008LAB).  Marathon participants will make a clearly marked u-turn prior to the Half Marathoners finish line, to start their second loop
• The course will close on a rolling 8-hour time table, from 4:30am – 12:30pm (the event permit is strictly enforced and only allows the streets to remained blocked on a rolling 8 hour time table)
• We cannot allow participants to start a second loop after 9:35 a.m., gun time.  The police will kindly ask you to move to the sidewalk if you fall behind the course pick-up
• SAG wagons will be available to assist you to the finish
